Aadhar Yojana on Hold: How Should India Address Security and Legal Concerns?

Dear friends, The Standing Committee of Parliament on Finance, in its report dated December 13, 2011, recommended that due to various objections raised regarding the Aadhar Yojana for citizens of India, including security and legal issues, the scheme should be reevaluated, and a new Bill should be introduced. Until such time, the scheme should be put on hold.
