Dear Seniors,
Your suggestion is required. I worked in a co. for 10 months. From very first month there was PF deduction of 600 Rs. which is shown in all my salary slips. As per account dept. they had my PF no. but I never filled any form.
Due to some of my personal familiar problem I left the organization. My query is this this may I claim for the PF. Or I should claim for FPF for 10 months which is of an amount of Rs. 6000
Yours guidance is required.
Thanks & Regards
Ravita

Hi Ravita
As per general understanding your basic salary was 5000 so that your contribution 600.The other assumption are that you have joining 1st day for the month and there was no loss of pay during your tenure in the organisation so that your ten month contribution will be 6000.
Also please note you never have to fill any form to get PF no.PF forms are filled for nomination purpose.
You are requested get in touch with your previous employer for withdraw of the PF,wherein your employee also contributed the same amount of your contribution.
Should you need any further clarification please feel free to get back.

Hi Ravita,
You can claim the PF by filling up the withdrawal form i.e. form No. 19 & 10-C, you please get in touch with your previous employer for withdrawal of the PF.
Feel free to get back.

Hi,
Fill Form 19 & 10 c dont write any wrong information and please leave D.O.J and D.O.L and your eligible for form 10 c because 10 months service is there as per my knowledge submit 19 & 10 C with that submit the accounts number with cancelled cheque and one address proof .

Thanks a lot Saurav & Pankaj ,
Dear Saurav,
Yes my basic was 5000. I had taken few leaves during my probation period as LWP. I forgot to mention that deduction for leaves were made on gross salary. Suppose I has taken 1 day leave then it was calculated like 16000/31- 1 days leave (Rs.516).16000-516=15484. Based on this rest amount Basicc+HRA+Conveyance was divided. Yes of-course then basic and all other figures were less than actual. Like basic instead of 5000 would be 4765 Rs.
Please let me know was that correct. Do you mean loss of pay by this leave deduction. Should I calculate PF deduction according to pay Slip which they have made after leave deduction.
Please relieve me out of this confusion.

Hi,
They will calculate according to the pay slip and they will calculate on basic wage that how much they are paying and pension amount and interest wil calculate on PF office.

Dear Ravita
Please note PF is calculated on earned basic so if there is any loss of pay during your probation in the organisation, all the component in your salary structure will proportionality com down including basic and once your basic is coming down due to loss of pay, your contribution towards PF also will be less.
Should you need any other clarification please feel free.

Dear Ravita
PF will be calulated on earned basic, suppose in a particaular month if u have lop and ur basic is deducted then u should consider the deducted basic*12%.
In some comapnies DA compeonet i.e, dearness allowance exists, in such cases (basic+da)* 12%= pf contribution.
Ex: Basic 5000 , 12% on basic = 600 (here u worked for complete 31 or 30 days in amonths), for ten months if u dont have any lop then 600*10=6000, then the total amount i.e, 6000*9.5%=6000+570=6570
