Understanding ESIC Benefits

I need ESIC benefits briefly explained to my company employees. They think that ESIC deduction is a waste and that there are not many benefits. Could someone please provide ESIC benefits point by point so that I can explain them clearly to my employees?

The ESI Act is mandatory for establishments engaging 20 or more persons, and the benefits include sick leave, partial and total disablement benefits, and pension.

Thank you.

It is very necessary, as necessary as PF deduction. Don't worry, it is beneficial for you.

Dear Seniors,

My contribution goes to the ESIC office regularly. My query is that my father is dependent, and he has received "private hospital treatment." Following the doctors' advice, I have obtained reports such as MRI, x-ray, etc. Can I receive reimbursement from the ESIC office for these expenses as part of dependent benefits?

Please advise me.

I am attaching some relevant files for your reference and records. You can create a booklet and distribute it to your employees about the benefits provided by the ESI Corporation. Additionally, you can contact your Enforcement Officer at ESI and arrange an ESI awareness training program for your employees. Please feel free to contact me for further clarifications.

Regards,
Alphonse
