Struggling with PF Withdrawal: How to Handle Employer Verification Delays?

shashiranjanrai
Hello friends, I need your help since I had already submitted my Form 13 & 10D, but it was rejected on the grounds that they were not verified by the employer. Subsequently, I have twice sent duly filled forms for verification, but they have neither verified them nor replied to me. I resigned from my job in 2008, and since April 2011, I have been trying to settle my PF account in Haridwar. Currently, I am based in Delhi.

Thanks,
SR Rai

You have not mentioned in your post why your employer is not replying. You may talk to your personnel/HR department for the same and then decide what to do.

Seniors, please...

As a matter of fact, you must apply for the withdrawal of PF using Form 10C and Form 19, not Form 13 and 10D. If your employer is not verifying, please get it verified with any nationalized bank where you hold the SB Account. Submit directly to the PF Commissionerate where your company account is maintained, along with a copy of your Passbook's first page, which includes your photo and account details, and your service/experience certificate duly issued by your previous employer.

The PF Commissionerate will obtain the details of your Form 5 and Form 10 from your employer and deposit your PF amount into your account. You will receive a confirmation SMS on your mobile if you mention your mobile number at the top of the PF and EPS claim form.

Wish you all the best.

Regards.

Thank you very much for your quick and valuable response. I hope I can settle my PF account now. In fact, the issue is not with Form 19 and 10C but with the absence of a responsible HR person in the previous organization.

I have a doubt. I have canceled my PF and completed all the formalities in my previous company. When can I expect the payment? Can anyone tell me the exact period for this process?

Thanks

Submission of Form 19 & 10 C

Regarding your query, have you submitted Form 19 and 10 C along with the relevant documents duly signed by the authorized signatory and submitted them to the RPFO/SRO office in your area of concern? You will receive the amount within 30 days, directly deposited into your bank account by the PF authorities. Now, you can check the status online by clicking on "Know your claim status" on the http://www.epfindia.nic.in.

I want to know that I forwarded my PF withdrawal documents (Form 10C & 19) to the PF office on 29.09.2011. Still, I can't get my PF amount. When I check the PF claim status, it always shows "your account is under process." When can I expect to receive my PF amount? How long does it generally take to process a PF claim?

Can anybody suggest me?

In my opinion, you should go to the PF office to get the real answers provided by the PF officer. After that, you need to submit the PF form again, and within 2 months, your PF amount will be deposited into your account.

Form No. 13 & 10D stands for Death Claim. You have to send Form No. 10C & 19.
