Payment Of Gratutity Format Letter - Doc Download

to make the payment of gratutity ,do we have to use a letter format or any form is available.

For claiming gratuity form I is used and for sanctioning the same form L is used. Please find the attached forms.

In case gratiuty payment ,the labour officer mentioned that the last drawn wages should be taken into account not the basic & Da alone.

Dear Member,
Labour Officer must have mentioned last drawn wages as defined at sec.2(s) of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. Go through this definition to have proper inference.

Gross salary 4295.00
Basic - 1599.00
HRA - 1039.00
Conveyance - 904.00
Other allowance - 489.00
as per sec 2(s) hra,other allowances are excluded.
Labour officer is directing us to pay as per the calculation of rs.4295.00
pls help
