We are depute 25 no of Home guard for our security reason of the factory and paying the allowance send by District Commandant of Home Guards. Now Can you tell me is PF or Service tax applicable for Home Guards or not?

The definition of \"employee\" is very wide in the EPF act and includes contractual workers who are engaged for work in or in connection with the establishment. Since these guards are doing security duty, provident fund will be applicable.

I need help in drafting a mail to placement officer of college informing him that our company is fine in granting permission to their students for doing a project but the project details can be shared only after their students join our company.

Can someone help me draft a mail to placement officer of a college informing him that his students are granted permision for doing their project in our company but then the project details can be shared only after they join our company and that their date of joining would be sometime after Pongal, exact dsate is yet to be decided.
