Employees Job Hunting During Work Hours: How Should HR Handle This Situation?

Seniors, I would like to know what can be done when an HR professional knows that 2-3 of his/her employees are applying for jobs from their workplace.

This menace is everywhere. You can't stop people from applying elsewhere, but you can warn them not to do personal tasks during office hours.

I am aware that people apply for jobs outside. But is it fair for them to do it from the office during work hours? Can this be conveyed to them?

I agree with Mr. Ponraj. It is not possible to stop, but there is an option that can help you a little bit in this regard by using your IT policy and denying access to all personal emails in your organization. You can also make some changes to your policies and give them a notice...
