Please Suggest Answer For The Question "WHY YOU LEFT YOUR LAST JOB" :(

ajaymehta
Dear Mr.Karthik,
Your question is really interesting and our friends also delivered very good suggestions on the same context. I would also like to tell you that the interviewer is also able to understand the situation. It is best policy if we tell facts and there is nothing to worry about. Interview winning is not only based on this question there are other parameters also. We have to check our self why we are leaving the present job if there is any thing negative, we should explain it in very short, positive & diplomatic manner.

Hi all,
wonderfull answers by Pramod B.Raju
Also I think your question was "WHY YOU LEFT YOUR LAST ORGANISATION" - that means you have already left the job because of some reason.
YOU CAN PERFECTLY USE THE TIPS GIVEN BY PRAMOD
+++++++
SEE THAT WHATEVER THE REASON WAS IT SHOULD NOT BE REPEATED IN NEXT JOB
It is not important that how we get into a new organization by answering smartly in interview. But we need to survive in that new organization and for a period of time where every one are impressed with our presence/ work output.
Your case may be of this kind also.... may be some one else have done some mistake and you got struck into that.
IF THATS THE CASE---MY DEAR FRIEND JUST PLAY DIPLOMACY + WITH YOUR OLD EXPERIENCE JUST MAINTAIN DISTANCE WITH SUCH PEOPLE/CIRCUMSTANCES.---ONE BEST SKILL TO SURVIVE IN AN ORGANIZATION
ANY HOW ALL THE BEST

Dear Mr. John
Yesternight I had a discussion with my friend on this subject. But he was telling that as like you said, the Behavioural based Interviewing questions will surely bring out the truth and by seeing the interview hall normally a candidate cannot simply show his smartness without any stuff. If a candidate is bluffing even in the interview hall means surely he can tackle any situation in any organisation. Majority of the candidates cannot hide the truth or simply bluff before the interview panel and they do so, surely these behavioural based question will bring out the real colour of the candidates, so that our selection process will fetch the right candidate for the right post.
Thank you Mr. John for sharing your views.

Karthik,
Pramod has given you enough tips.. i just want to add few words from HR perspective like what we seek in the candidate during the interview.
We always look for Honest answer, attitude towards learninng, Going extra miles to achieve things, ready to take challenging and more responsible work... etc. If you tell them 'work was hectic', 'Routine job' then they may think you are not ready for responsibility. So be careful while answering their questions and try to convince them... all the very best :-) :-)

Dear Friend,
In My opinion
You should stay positive regardless of the circumstances. Never refer to a major problem with management and never speak ill of supervisors, co- workers or the organization. If you do, you will be the one looking bad.
Keep smiling and talk about leaving for a positive reason such as an opportunity, a chance to do something special or other forward- looking reasons.
I agree with Amols suggestions,
