What is the maximum number of days for the accumulation of earned leaves under the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act?

As per the Central Government Service Rules, earned leave can be accumulated for a maximum of 300 days; anything above that limit is considered lapsed.

If a company provides earned leaves of 15 days per month, then according to the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act, leaves can accumulate up to 45 days at one time. What should be done with leaves beyond 45 days? To what extent can leaves accumulate?

Dear Sir, According to my understanding of Section 22 and Subsection 1A, the company can hold 45 days of PL for an employee, and any accumulation of leaves beyond 45 days can be encashed by the employee on a year-to-year basis or otherwise. Am I correct?

Dear Members,

Please clarify what is the limit of earned leaves that can be availed by an employee in one stretch. If a company is providing 2.5 earned leaves per month, how many days does an employee have to work to be eligible to take these leaves? Also, will the employee be eligible for earning leaves for the month in which they are on leave?
