I have submitted a canceled cheque and account number of ICICI Bank (where my salary was previously credited) along with Form 19 and 10C. In my appointment letter, as well as in Form 19 and 10C, my correct name is mentioned as "Mr. X." However, when checking the status on http://www.epfindia.com, a name mismatch was identified. Upon reviewing my salary slip, I noticed that there is a spelling error in the name, and my first name is missing.
Upon searching with the name on the salary slip, I was able to find the claim status on the PF website. What implications will this discrepancy have, and how will the amount be credited to my account?
