I presume that you are employed in a hotel/restaurant in Tamil Nadu. The working conditions of employees of hotels/restaurants or other places where edibles are served to the public for consumption at the premises itself are covered by the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Catering Establishments Act. Please refer to this Act for further information.
Which Shop and Establishment Act does not mention anything about sick leave? In general, State Shops Acts have provisions relating to the grant of EL, SL, and CL.
