Confused About Pursuing a SAP Course as a Fresher? Seeking Advice on Job Prospects and Suitable Modules

Hi, I am Chandu, a BSc graduate in Electronics from the class of 2007. I am planning to pursue a SAP course, but my friends are advising against it since I am a fresher. They doubt if I will secure a job after completing the SAP course. I am totally confused and seek clarification on this matter. Please suggest which module would be suitable for me and provide your guidance. My dear friends, I appreciate your help.

Hands-on experience is a must if you want to get a good offer. Acquiring an SAP Certificate does help a lot. However, there are various modules in SAP ERP like HR, FICO, PM, etc., and again, there are sub-modules within these modules. For instance, in the SAP HR module, there are sub-modules like OM, PA, TM, PY, etc. So, get your certificate and join a firm where SAP is being implemented.

Hi, Chandu! I am pursuing MCA and currently in the 6th semester. If you want to learn SAP, then you should start with ABAP/4 if you have an IT background and are good at coding. If not, then go for the functional part of SAP. In all their modules, you should have knowledge about these modules. All the best! Garima
