Obviously each company has its own standing orders. The rules/clauses to be incorporated in the standing orders depends upon the company policy. It should be acceptable to the employees also. In case the company has trade union, the copy of the draft should be given to the union and their concurrence taken and the trade union representatives will be signatories to the standing orders. In case the company without trade union, the certifying authority will select from among the employees few representatives and the certification will be done only after taking their concurrence. This means that it is not one sided but will reflect employees' agreement to the clauses. Depending upon the behaviour of the employees and the nature of the industry, therefore, standing orders will differ from company to company.
