Workplace Conflict Escalation: How Should Management Respond to Employee Misconduct?

mg ramesh
We have a private limited company with 130 permanent employees. We also have a worker union for the past two years. One fine morning, a worker started misconduct with security personnel, which escalated into a quarrel and physical altercation involving him and his coworkers. The top management needs to take action in this regard. We have already filed an FIR as the security personnel's left-hand fingers were broken during the quarrel. Kindly respond promptly in accordance with the Factory Act.

Immediate Action Required for Workplace Abuse

Call the police! This is abuse, and charges should be laid! Once the police investigation is done, the company can act accordingly, such as dismissal. Abuse should never be tolerated.

Cheers,
