Struggling with Manual Payslip Creation in Excel? Seeking Tips for Automation Without Software

Dear HR Family, I have been working for a telecom company as an Executive-HR for the last 6 months. I prepare the salary statement in MS-Excel and provide the payslips in MS-Word one by one.

Automated Payslip Generation

Could you please help me with how to generate the payslips along with the salary statement? Is there a procedure for automated payslip generation along with the Salary Statement?

As of now, our company is not in a position to buy payroll software. Please suggest if there are any shortcuts in MS-Excel to generate the payslips and prepare the salary statement simultaneously.

Using Mail Merge for Payslip Generation

Use mail merge to generate the payslips. You need to enter the details in Excel, prepare a payslip format in Word, and then perform the mail merge. This way, you can generate 500 to 1000 payslips in 5 minutes.
