Supreme Court Ruling: Can Students Now Access Their Exam Answer Sheets Under RTI?

The Supreme Court, in its important judgment dated 9.8.2011 (copy attached), has held that examinees have a right to inspect their answer sheets and obtain certified copies thereof under the Right to Information Act. This is for your information.

Definitely, it is a great tool to break the monopoly of corrupt valuation practices regarding the capabilities of the students, as adopted by some lethargic and careless examiners.

It is really good information for all students, especially those who are strongly expecting high marks after finishing their examinations. Additionally, it is the right time for everybody to be well aware of the Right to Information Act, which provides relevant information to the public.
