I am currently working under a sub-broker who is handling the franchise of a broking company. Now, he is closing the franchise and wants to start his own business. As a result, I started searching for a new job. After some very positive interview sessions, I was selected for a position. However, the HR department requested salary slips from my previous employer. Since I was not on the company's payroll, my boss is refusing to issue me any salary slips as he believes it may be illegal to do so.
This situation is becoming increasingly frustrating for me because despite having the necessary knowledge and being selected for the position, I have been rejected twice due to the salary slip issue. I used to deposit my salary in cash into my mother's account as she manages all the household expenses. Consequently, my bank statements do not reflect the salary payments I received, and I am hesitant to fabricate any information.
What can be done to resolve this dilemma?
