Frustrated with Delayed Pension Claims? Steps to Take When Your Father's Pension is Stuck in Process

Actually, my father was working in a company in Mysore, Karnataka. Now we have settled down in Tamil Nadu. He is now 52 years old. He has already submitted the pension and claims relevant forms to the respected officials in that company and completed all the formalities in November 2010 in Mysore. However, no pension amount has been remitted to his account yet. Whenever he checks his claim status, we receive the reply "Is Under process." We have made several attempts to check his claim status through his friends at the company, but the response remains the same. We are unsure whether his claims have been transferred from Karnataka or not, or the current status of the process.

Please advise on the immediate steps to be taken to claim his pension at the earliest. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
