Respected Sir, I had sent an RTI application 35 days ago. Yesterday, I received a letter from the "Employees Provident Fund Organization" as follows. Please read the following letter and give me proper suggestions:
"It is to inform you that the PF Account No. XXXXXX has been settled for Rs: xxxx (PF) and Rs: xxxx (EPS) and has been sent to your bank through NEFT vide cheque no: xxxx dated 31.10.2010. Cheque no: xxxx dated 31.10.2010 was returned by the bank authorities with the remarks 'Account does not exist.' You are, therefore, requested to submit the re-authorization form (enclosed) duly attested by your ex-employer along with a copy of the passbook."
Sir, please note that I have not received any "Re-authorization form" in the enclosure. Before proceeding, I would like to inform you that I have a "Nagrik Bachat Khata" for PF (not a savings account) in the Bank of Baroda, which offers me zero balance facility.
So, sir, please let me know the whole PF re-authorization process.
