How Do I Resign from KVS During Probation Without CPF Deductions? Need Advice!

Hi, will you please help me? How can I get a resignation from KVS? I am in the probation period, and until today, my CPF has not been deducted. I have been selected in the State government and want to resign from my current job. Please send me a proforma of a resignation letter and tell me how many weeks' notice I need to give. Will they deduct my salary?

Please guide me.

Dear Devender Kumar, you will have to check your appointment letter to find the notice period or consult your HR. For probationaries, the notice period may be 15 days or a month. Generally, companies deduct notice pay from an employee's salary if he fails to serve it, or they may ask you to pay the notice period salary from your pocket. Check the terms with your company. But, as far as possible, leave in good faith and keep good relations with the employer.

Resignation Format

There is no particular format for resignation. But you can write along similar lines: "I hereby wish to resign from my duties today ......... (date) for ........... reasons. My last working day as per notice will be ......... I have enjoyed my tenure in the company and would like to thank all the seniors and my superior for the cooperation and support extended from time to time."

I have not received an answer yet. Mr. Venu Gopal Sir mentioned giving a 3-month notice period, while Vaishalee Parkhi suggested either a 15-day or one-month notice period. Please provide me with a correct answer regarding the rules of resigning.

My UDC and LDC were very rude, and my salary for the month of May has not been received yet for reasons unknown to me. I fear that if I inform them now, they may deduct my May salary, or I might have to face more challenges in obtaining it. The current situation is that I have been selected in the State Level teacher test, but the duration of my appointment is uncertain. Some sources mention a period of 1 month, while others suggest 3-4 months. I have not yet received an appointment letter, and if I inquire with my UDC, they might provide clarity on the exact timeframe, to which I currently have no response. This is why I am feeling confused.

Dear Cyril, you are in the probation period, so it will be a maximum of 1 month only. It is surprising to know that until today (July 11th), you have not received your May month's salary. With this reason, you can easily get relieved from your present school.

As I am not receiving my salary timely, and my May 2011 salary has still not been paid to me, I am being forced to submit my resignation. Please accept my resignation and relieve me as soon as possible.

If you submit a resignation letter, immediately they will call you and try to convince you to accept your salary and insist you stay further. At that time, accept your salary and inform them that with a strained relationship, it is not possible to stay further and get relieved.
