There are cases of people who have left large companies to a small company to get more pay and so called job satisfaction, only to regret the action and wanting to get back to the old firm. As you have not given enough detail about your present job, why you are dissatisfied, where you are located, etc., it is not possible to give you effective suggestions.
Have a nice day.

Mr. Confused !

Dont worry ! At times it happens to many individuals. Take a break with your close relative or friend. Sit calmly and talk to the person and pour your heart out. Let your friend be an experienced or knowledgeable guy who can counsel you and whose word you honour. Secondly, do a SWOT analysis of yourself - listing out your STRENGTHS, your WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES available to you and THREATS i.e. points which are against you - all these in terms of your education, skill, knowledge and experience. I am sure a clear picture will emerge if you do a proper analysis. In case you feel you should have some more qualification, if you and your family can afford it, go ahead. Although so many people will give you so many solutions, but that will ultimately add up to your confusion quotient - like remedies if you catch a cold ! There is no harm in taking inputs from all but then you will be more confused than ever. Another option is to identify and have a chat with a career counselor or a psychologist who will be able to guide you better.

Best wishes

Hello GB,
Very well answered by Mr. Sundaram !
Besides, the best way is to let some time go till you are able to decide anything concrete. I have seen few of my friends who left their jobs coz they did not find any charm in continuing without considering and planning for future course of action.
Ultimately they had to repent later.
So stay cool and take decision after thorough consideration.
All the best !
