Contract Employee Breaks and Wage Criteria

I want to know, can a contract employee take a break? Is it compulsory for the principal employer? What is the criteria for wage break for a contractor with service charges?

Contacting an employee means we can provide work as per our requirement. After completion of the work, we may stop him, and it is not compulsory for the principal employer to provide a break; it purely relates to the scope of work.
