Please guide me weither provident fund and esi is applicable in case of staff on probation/temporary staff :

dear friend,the epf law & the esi law both provide for membership from the very first day of his employment.there should not be any discrimination between a permanent and a probationer/temporary employee if he is within the definition of "employee" as set out in epf &esi law.for further clarification pl mail to [Login to view]
