Fake Job Offer Alert: How to Spot and Avoid Scams Like This One

Warning: Fake Job Offer Alert

I received an email today (06.06.2011) with an attachment of an offer letter (see attached) demanding a deposit of Rs. 6250/-. This is absolutely a FAKE OFFER LETTER, as there were no initial calls for screening detailing the opening, and no interview had happened in this regard. Secondly, regarding the deposit formality, the payee is a personal name, ANIL KUMAR, instead of the company name.

Please find the attachment of the offer letter received by me, which doesn't even mention the applicant's name.

Friends, this is to make you all informed and aware of the fake companies that exist in the market and deceive innocent job seekers.

Regards,
Kaushambi

Thanks, Kaushambhi, it's imperative to inform the freshers about such fake offer letters and companies. We have discussed such issues in the past as well, where the names of companies like TATA and Maruti have been used by people who run the mafia of buying and selling offer letters. Thanks for attaching the mail so that people can be aware.
