Change Of Factory Name In Factory Licence

Dear Friends,
Our factory has changed its name. so know shall we have to change its name in factory license also? if so what is the procedure and what are the forms required to be submitted. Will we have to apply for a new license or they will amend our old one

what exactly is name change?... change in the board of director..... a totally new management..... will there be change in the number of employees and the horsepower being used...? factory licence is based on no. of employees and horsepower engaged..... u consider these things and apply to factory inspectorate.... contact yr local factory inspector.. he will help u....

Actually Name of Our company has been changed from XXX company India Pvt. Ltd. to XXX India Pvt. Ltd. Also the occupier has changed their is no change in Manpower and horse power being used.
Pls sugest.

Have you filed change report reg "occupier" along with board resolution? Name change is a purely technical issue?

Dear
you can not change name of your company as per your own wish.The company name changed through the orders of court
and registrar of companies are also one of the party in that order.
you can write a letter to chief inspector of factories along with order of court for change of name,copy of original licence for amendment,challan of amendment fee duly deposited in state bank of india along with concerned form where you are required to mention name of occupier and manager.
