I am working in India for one project, and I am currently on-site in Abu Dhabi. I want to bring my wife to my workplace (we got married almost one and a half years ago) because almost six months have passed since our manager approved my assignment here. I came to this project and am going to stay another nine months, so I want to bring my wife with me. Therefore, I need to write a letter to my manager. Can you help me with how to write the letter? If your company gives you an option to stay and continue to work further in ABU DHABI based on projects, then you can request a FAMILY VISA, for which you need to meet basic eligibility requirements.

I suggest having discussions with your manager about your future role (how many years), most probably ONSITE in ABU DHABI, and come to a conclusion. LETTER DRAFTING is a skill, and one must have a command of language (average vocabulary) to express concerns/requests in written form to convey the intended meaning clearly and politely. Hence, Mr. Dinesh misunderstood your query due to the lack of exact phrasing.

Clarification on Residency and Family Visa

Currently, I am residing in Abu Dhabi. I will be here for another 8 to 9 months. The company will arrange my visa and travel. Since I got married almost one and a half years ago, I have been feeling a little lonely. This is the first time I am away from home for a project. I have discussed this with my manager, and he has advised me to send a strong email requesting to bring my family to my work location. I am looking for a sample letter for this purpose.
