Request for Information on Regulatory Compliance in West Bengal

Please provide me with information on the following rules and regulations according to factories in India and West Bengal:

1. Pollution Control Board - its implications and regulations as per WB.
2. Legal Metrology
3. Poison License
4. Explosive License
5. Electricity Directorate
6. Panchayat
7. Trade License

All of the above are part of my project where I have to evaluate the Standard Deviation in my chemical factory in Kolkata.

You can refer to the Indian Factory Act of 1947, and the regulations and amendments made in 1996/1999. By doing so, you will obtain all the details regarding the Pollution Control Board, including its implications and regulations as per the regulations of West Bengal. Additionally, information on Legal Metrology can be found.

How can you think that my project completion will depend solely on Cite HR views? This is ridiculous. As I am simultaneously trying to gather all the data myself, being a seasoned HR professional, I would not rely solely on Cite HR. My questions are to cross-check if I have received relevant answers for my project after obtaining the views of experienced HR professionals in Cite HR.

I hope you can develop an attitude to help rather than criticize. In this forum, we are conversing through writing, not meeting in person. HR professionals should cultivate a helpful attitude as it is one of the most in-demand departments in companies nowadays.

Also, the acts I have inquired about are uncommon and pertain to the operation of factories, not just employee compliance. Therefore, this question is directed towards experienced HR professionals who have worked in factories or similar organizations.

I would appreciate any information you may have regarding my queries.

Dear Mr. Matheen, kindly read my reply addressed to Mr. Ashish. Mr. Ashish had posted his query seeking information (data), but it was not meant for discussion. I have no objection if you wish to provide relevant information to Mr. Ashish, but do understand the process for addressing professional matters. One can only guide Mr. Ashish, which can't be considered as help. I don't believe in spoon-feeding, and here, help is correlated with spoon-feeding.

With profound regards,

Dear Mr. Ashish,

Are you here to acquire information or to command us to work for your requirements? If you had framed your query in a more appropriate manner, then everyone would have understood your requirements. For example, "EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS... Is there any member in this forum who could guide me in locating, gathering, and acquiring information for my project?"

Regarding ATTITUDE

What kind of ATTITUDE are you relating to HELPING NATURE? According to your perception, it is the HELPING NATURE that has made many employees rely on SPOON-FEEDING without conducting BASIC ANALYSIS. Do you mean to imply that other members are INEXPERIENCED HR PROFESSIONALS? To what extent have you obtained information from this forum? Have you ever tried using the RESEARCH option?

With profound regards,

Dear All,

My mission in posting this query was to seek the participation of HR professionals who are involved in legal compliances as per factory rules. Most of us are discussing matters related to humans only; however, these compliances are also a crucial part of HR. I was not being rude, but simply providing an explanation. I did not want to offend anyone. All suggestions are welcomed from my side.

I did not mean to offend anyone but was trying to get relevant information for my post, not with the objective to complete my task, but to get valuable and practical views which are not always available on the net. Cite HR has members who are relatively experienced in all sectors, and I thought that I would be able to gather some thoughts. I would welcome all thoughts regarding my posts, which will be a learning experience for everyone associated with Cite HR.

Also, my query is a little different as many non-factory HR professionals are not aware of these laws. Thus, it would have been a new learning experience for everyone, including me.

Regards,
Ashish
