Need Telecom Industry KPIs for All Functions – Can Anyone Share Their Insights?

Dear All, I urgently need the KPIs for the Telecom Industry. I would appreciate it if someone who is already working in this sector could share some KPIs. I need to review the KPIs of all functions, including Finance, HR, Technical, Commercial (Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, etc.), Administration, Procurement, and IT. Therefore, I need to ensure that all functions are provided with KPIs that ensure optimum achievement in terms of business goals. I have gone through different sites, but the emphasis seems to be on manufacturing and production, and rarely the KPIs given can be customized for Telecom.

Dear Hina, you know your industry as well as your company very well. Therefore, customization of the KPIs you will have to do on your own. What applies to the telecom companies may not be applicable to you. Wipro and Infosys, though both from the IT industry, have tremendously different styles in running their companies. FedEx and DHL both operate in 220 countries, but their administration styles are unique.

If you expect everything readily available on the platter, then what value addition will we HR do?

With all due respect, I think the purpose of this forum is to gain knowledge by asking other professionals to provide their input. I have been responsible for the PMS in my company and have already developed the KPIs through an extensive exercise.

Good to note that you have developed the KPIs and done the spadework. But then you should upload your work here so that industry outsiders like me can give you the inputs for further improvisations.

Well, as you said, different people have different goals and mine is to improve the system as much as possible, which it seems you don't agree to.

Your inference that I do not agree with the improvement in the system is out of place and not consistent with my comments in this thread or any other thread. Recently, one Prema had asked for the draft of the circular. I told her to draft on her own and then upload it here. Then I have corrected it further. You can check my previous post.

Plus, I think we should encourage learning and add value by contributing something.

Kindly attach your KPIs for reference, which will be followed by suggestions. Let's not waste time in unfruitful debate. We have to look forward to a solution within the stipulated time frame. I am sure your queries will be solved to some extent only.
