Format of attendance register depends upon the applicability of the Act wherein we are required to maintain this register & therefore first decide which of the act is applicable to your establishment e.g. Shops & Establishment Act, Minimum wages Act, 1948 etc. & then go through Rules of that Act & have the format.

How can I know under which of the Act & Rules you are required to maintain the attendance register? Formats are provided by the Rules of the applicable Act & therefore first examine which of the Act like Factories Act, Shops Act, Contract Labour (R&A) Act etc. is applicable in your case & then go through the Rules to have the format.
