HR Manager Or Recruitment Consultant

Hi,
I recently got appointed as a HR Manager in a property development company. Now, i am getting an offer to work as a Trainer in one Education related company & Recruitment Consultant in a Indian MNC.
Need suggestions.

Why are you in a dilemma? these opportunities may knock the door many times but you cannot always run after them leaving beside what you currently hold.
Here also it is the same case many job opportunities will come but it is up to you whether you want to do a mere JOB or you want to make a career..please list down your strengths and interest areas and then go ahead make a choice.
You should have given a little detail about how much total experience you have? What designation did you hold in last job?
design your career path and then make your moves according to that, then it will become much clearer where and when to stop to add a chapter in your life for the better growth.

Well, let me give you a brief about my education & experience.
I have done B.Pharmacy & MBA (Marketing & HRM).
I have total working experience of 5 years in Sales & Marketing ( Corporate), in pharma , Telecom & Education.
This is my first job as an HR & am really confused & concerned about my career.
Badly in need of someone as a guide & mentor.

Hi Sajad,
I have given my suggestions already...choice is yours we all can just help you out in making a choice that is all.
I do not want to tell you that go for Trainer or recruitment as it may not give you a chance to think about your interest areas.
make a choice on the basis of:
Your career path
Your strengths and interest areas
company's past performance and reputation
your growth in the company
the monetary package(no matter how hard we try not to think of it many of our decisions revolves around it) :)
other benefits
And go figure......

I just want to say that I have noticed so many times that you have given the good advice for all the citehr members.

Can you help me?

At present m facing the problem related to my career and till date I didn't received any good opportunity in my working life.

After 12th, I had to join as a backend Exec. in a samll org. due to some Financial problem in my Family, in between I have done my B.com From Delhi University (correspondence) my 2nd job was in a manufacture firm, whr I was a "FOE" (2 yr's) now m doing a HRM from Symbiosis Univ. (Correspondence) and doing a job in a manufacture firm as a Mktg. Co-ord. (jan'11 to till date).

But m not satisfied from this.

Even I have applied so many time for a HR Asst. or Exec. but When I rcvd. the same then they are from some Recruitment or consultancy company, which I Won't bcz here is no career (from my point of view)

And at present I don't have enough time for my practicle training in HR.

Pls advice me for the same, bcz I do not want to spoil my time and my money.

3) What do you "WANT TO BECOME"

For example......
1)I am an IT PROFESSIONAL as i had completed my MCA but 2005 i started delivering my services to the education industry - GENERAL MANAGEMENT, where i had covered all HR ACTIVITIES including EMPLOYEE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT, STUDENT ADMISSIONS & COUNSELING and supported various departments like FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, FINANCE, IT, HOSTEL & CATERING.
2) My KEY STRENGTH is MANAGING PEOPLE, GETTING THINGS DONE, IDENTIFYING HIDDEN TALENT & TRAINING
3) I love play the GAME only at TOP MANAGEMENT LEVEL as i understand them very well.

In a similar way, you define the deem fits your interest that creates career ......

Like Ms. Archana said you have to work hard to create your own career. Its take time.

Well, your interests are mine are somewhat similar & i started my career the same way asu did.
I did B.Pharmacy but worked for Education industry.
I love to counsel , train & delivering presentations.
The present company didnt give me any hike on salary as i shifted from Sales domain to HR.
In training profile i am getting almost 15% hike.
Actually, there isnt much work here as the company dont have defined HR dept.
