Looking for the English Equivalent of "Tapori" – Any Suggestions?

Could anybody suggest the English word for "Tapori"?

Thanks, Kavita

If you ask me, the best English street language interpretation for "tapori" would be "street urchin" and "vagabond." "Rogue" has been defined properly, but I assume it means more of a person who is mischievous. As far as I'm concerned, I would say that a mixture of "rogue" and "vagabond" makes a tapori.

Anyways, I feel it should be "urchin." Please refer to the dictionary for better clarity. I am not that good with English.

Hey Kavita,

You sure are not going to publish a dictionary shortly, are you? You have enough material in case you really want to. Members down here are very nice people!

I am expecting your next question to be - the English translation for "Waat lagaa di, bhai" . Just a joke; please don't mind...
