Dear Gaurav and Shoaib,

Gate Pass Instructions

Please write in bold "Gate Pass" on the first line. On the second line, mention your Company/factory name and address details. On the third line, address it "To Security Officer." On the fourth line, kindly permit/allow the following material to be sent outside the premises. Then create the following columns: Sl No., Description, Unit of Measurement, Quantity, Remarks.

If the material is returnable, write "Returnable" in the remarks column.

The Gate Pass must have at least two signatures: one from the Storekeeper and another from the Admin, Project Head, or their designated representative.

The security personnel will then enter the information in the OUTWARD Register. If the material is returnable, it will be entered in the Returnable Outward Register. Similarly, for inward materials to be returned by subcontractors, security will enter the details in the Inward Returnable Register, but only with proper documentary evidence.

No material should leave without a proper gate pass.

S. Bhaskar
