Employment Bond (Service Agreement)

Hi All,
I am working in a BPO in Delhi and in Feb 2010 I have been to UK for an on Job training for 3 months. Due to this OJT I have entered into a bond with my employer for 2 years or I need to pay 2 lakhs (INR).
At present I am not well and my doctor has suggested for bed rest. Currently I am on leave without pay. For this reason I want to leave my current job and go back to back to Kolkata.
Please advise if I would have to pay the remaining value of the bond that is 1 lakh or the bond turns null and void incase of medicle incapablility to work.

Write to the company explaining your situation alongwith the doctor's medical reports. Your case will be considered sympathetically.

Could some one advise on the legal aspects as well in case my employer refuse to take my situation into consideration.
