Understanding Factory Act Returns: What Documents and Deadlines Should I Know About?

Dear Seniors, please let me know about the returns required under the Factory Act. How many returns need to be submitted in one year, and which documents need to be enclosed with these returns (Quarterly / Half Yearly / Yearly)? Also, please inform me of the last date to submit the return. Kindly suggest to me.

Please note the half-yearly and yearly returns in Form 22 and 21 under the Factories Act. Other yearly returns should be filed in Form III under Minimum Wages and Form IV under Payment of Wages. Form D is required under the Bonus Act, Form A for Holidays, and KLMN under the Maternity Act, etc.

Factory Act Returns Submission Deadlines

Form 21 is the half-yearly return of the Factory Act, with the last submission date being 31 July.

Form No. 22 is the annual return of the Factory Act, with the last submission date being 31 January.
