Dear All, just go through the following link regarding the explosion in Domestic LPG causing one fatality. Also see the attached same news on TOI dated 27.12.2010.
One dead, two critical after cylinder explosion - The Times of India
The reason behind the same, as per the report, is the leaky pipe connected to the LPG cylinder. One doubt arises in my mind after going through the news... Why did the fire not get cut off from reaching into the cylinder? Is there any arrangement like NRV or Flashback Arrestor in the Regulator of domestic LPG Cylinders? If not, what is the best option we can opt for safety in domestic LPG cylinders?
This can happen in any of our homes... So please share what is the best we can do to avoid any such incidents in our day-to-day life.
