I am drafting a leave policy for my company. As per the Punjab S&E Act, 1 EL is added every 20 working days, i.e., 18 EL in total. In addition, 7 CL and 7 SL should also be given. That totals up to 32 leaves. However, can I go below this prescribed number? For example, can I give just 12 EL? If yes, is there any provision in any law? Please help.
