Need Help Finding the Right Form V Format for Gujarat State – Can Anyone Assist?

Could someone please provide the Form V format applicable to the Gujarat State?

Under which Act and Rules are you requiring this Form V? In general, the Principal Employer under The Contract Labour (R&A) Act and Rules issues Form V to the contractor. Firstly, determine which of the State or Central Rules are applicable in your case. Then, review those applicable Rules to understand the format of this form.

Hi Ganesh, as required by you, the Form V is attached. Before issuing the Form V, the contractor should furnish the Form IV for the Principal Employer's reference.

Dear Anal Kurpe,

Form V attached by one of our member relates to units where The Govt. of Karanataka is the appropriate Govt. while in your case you should utilize the form V provided by the Gujarat Contract Labour ( R&A) Rules, 1972. According to the Labour Department site of Gujarat form V may be read as under:

Form of Certificate by Principal Employer

Certificate that I have engaged the applicant (name of the contractor) as a contractor in my establishment, I undertake to be bound by all the provisions of the contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, and the central Labour (regulation and Abolition) central Rules, 1971, in so far as the provisions are applicable to me in respect of the employment of contract labour by the applicant in any establishment.

After going through the format of this Form V it is on the same line as provided by the Central Rules of 1971. In my view in place of central rules it should be as follows:
The Gujarat Contract Labour (R&A) Rules, 1972.
For further clarification in the matter you may contact your area Labour Office or office of Licensing Officer.
