This is Christy M, and I am in my project tenure. I would like to narrate to you the story of Christy, the laziest creature who carried out her MBA project. The very first step I took to do my project was to search for a full project report on the web, which led me to citehr.com. Although there were many sample project reports there, I was unable to find one relevant to my topic. Additionally, I noticed that Mr. Simhan (nashbramhall) had posted that people shouldn't ask for full projects and questionnaires but rather just guidelines to do their work. I was actually furious. Why would they create a website that wouldn't provide full project reports? And what was this website for if not for giving reports?

I had no other choice. My first review was approaching, and I had to take action. I downloaded Mr. Simhan's PowerPoint presentations regarding research and formulating questionnaires. I read and truly understood them to carry out my research effectively. I received all the necessary guidance from Mr. Simhan through email. I worked on my questionnaire. Surprisingly, I was once lost at sea, but now I know how to proceed with my research.

My first review was a wonderful success, and my second review is coming up in a few days. Instead of endlessly searching for full projects and ready-made questionnaires, which proved to be a complete waste of time (I tried it countless times), I recommend exploring citehr.com. You can find all the necessary details for your project here. Define your objectives and seek help from the moderators. It may sound challenging, but you won't succeed unless you put in the effort.

Hi, Swapna Nemelipuri. I am pursuing my MBA IV semester with specializations in HR and Marketing. I am interested in doing a project in HR, specifically focusing on performance appraisal because I find it to be an interesting topic. I have received approval to conduct my project at "Planman Media."

I have gone through several projects, and all of them have focused on performance appraisal in manufacturing and other industries. To date, no one in my college has undertaken a project in the media industry, including not only in HR but in other departments as well. As a result, I lack guidance tailored to this specific industry.

Currently, my knowledge on performance appraisal is basic. I understand the concept and methods, as well as when appraisals should be conducted. However, this knowledge is insufficient for completing the project.

Therefore, I require further guidance on various aspects such as:
- What type of data should I collect for my project?
- How should I structure my questionnaire, and what aspects should I consider?

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with guidelines for my project. Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for the detailed response. Where are you based, and where will you be conducting the study? Planman Media has a few centers, similar to IIPM. Have you studied Research Methodology? If so, they would have taught you how to conduct research: set aims and objectives, state hypotheses, review literature, formulate your research framework, decide on methods (how to collect data and why that way, how to analyze data, etc.), and so on.

Thank you for the query. I am not an HR expert. You need to search for the relevant literature, read and digest the latest scholarly articles, and then decide on how to proceed. I don't understand why we, as people, want fully completed and compiled project reports. Friends, understand there is no shortcut - burn the midnight oil. This site is meant for guidance and help from senior people, not to provide questionnaires, summer training projects, and reports. Why are HR people doing this? Your requirements are different; don't cheat, at least yourself. I, too, am preparing a project on R&R. I have downloaded everything related to R&R, and now I am reading it and understanding the criteria other people have followed. I am now developing my questionnaire as per my company, where I am doing my summer training, keeping in view their limitations, rules, and policies.
