Dear Dr. Smitha, I found your presentation both informative and well-structured, allowing us to follow the issues and understand the topic. For this, I congratulate you. Of course, if your other units are made available, it would be most useful to us.
I am a trainer and I am still trying to find the balance between presentation techniques in PPT slides and the need to provide information. Gone are the days when trainers provided a set of handout notes and then used PPT/OHP as a training aid. Now we just combine and give a simpler version of our slides.
Finding the Balance in Presentation Techniques
This raises a problem. Many trainers will say we need to have simple slides (3 points max, fewer words, and more information, etc.) and give more of ourselves in the presentation. Yet we find it difficult to produce the handout notes. Can someone suggest where the balance is?
That aside, I found the file given contains a lot of information, but it would be quite an eyeful for the participants. Were they used in a training session?
Continue with your valuable contribution, and I look forward to more from you.
Regards,
Steve
