Is Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) Applicable for Contract Workers? Seeking Clarity on Wage Adjustments

We are paying our contract workers as per A.P. Contract Minimum Wages (US - 155, SS - 195, and S - 235). This government order will be revised every two years. Is the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) applicable for contract workers? VDA points are announced every six months.

Please review the notification. If the minimum wages fixed or revised are affected by the VDA, then you are also liable to pay the increase resulting from the increase in index numbers.
