Celebrating YouSucceed's First Year: My Journey, Challenges, and a Poem That Inspired Me

profRaj
Dear All, today marks the 1st anniversary of YouSucceed, a training organization founded by me on Nov. 9, 2009. Returning from the UK and leaving behind a well-settled life was a challenging decision. I must admit that I have not achieved all my planned goals for this year. Nevertheless, embarking on this entrepreneurial journey has been fulfilling, with fragments of my vision materializing. We have successfully trained over 1,000 students and executives this year, with plans to quadruple this number in the upcoming year.

Amidst these milestones, I feel compelled to share a valuable discovery I made nearly a year and a half ago, just before launching my business. It is a poem penned by a 25-year-old Black American from Brooklyn, New York, who was incarcerated at the time for drug trafficking. I hope this resonates with you, and I apologize in advance for any unintended offense.

Regards, Prof. Raj Das
