If an employee goes on leave for three days—Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—and returns to work on Monday, should Sunday be included as part of the leave or treated as a holiday?
First, determine under which Act this employee is entitled to have Sunday as a holiday and then review that Act or Rule to assess eligibility for this holiday.

"If an employee goes on leave for three days (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and rejoins on Monday, then is Sunday considered as leave or treated as a holiday?"
If the person is present on Monday, then Sunday will be considered the weekly off. If an employee is on leave for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and also takes leave on Monday, then Sunday will not be considered the weekly off, and he/she must put in a leave request for Sunday as well.
