Restarting Career After Long Gap - Views,opportunities

Nice to be with my fraternity after long time,well Im Swathi Rao from Hyd with 3.8yrs exp as HR execuitve in IT companies n non IT comp.
Duration of my working was from march 2005 to till dec 2008 after that I had to take a break as I was in the family way.
Since im done bit with responsibilities at home, I want to restart my career.
I request one and all please let me know the kind of market which is currently going where n when exactly I can try out my luck.
Also let me say I was working as HR generalist n wish to have opportunites on the same if given.

I am currently working on Special Projects (not related to HR) and I am looking at getting back into HR. I have 6 yrs. experience in HR primarily in L&D with exposure to PMS, Compensation & Recruitment post my 3yr. MHRDM program from JBIMS, Mumbai. Over time, I have lost touch but I am sure I can pick up the threads quickly.
