Haven't Received My PAN Card in 4 Years – How Can I Get a Duplicate?

Dear Sir,

I have not received the PAN card, but I have a PAN number. My native place is Madhya Pradesh, and I am currently working in Bangalore. I had applied for my PAN card almost four years ago from my hometown, but I have not received the physical card yet. However, I was able to find my PAN card number on the income tax website by searching with my date of birth and name. I also have the acknowledgment slip with me.

I initially thought that the card might take some time to be delivered to my home address, but I have not received it so far. Due to my busy schedule and lack of information, I have not taken any action on this matter yet.

Could you please advise me on the steps to resolve this issue? What would be the next procedure, and what documents will be required to apply for a duplicate PAN card?

You can write to the Income Tax Department, providing your PAN number and a copy of the acknowledgment stating that you have not received the PAN card to date. It might have been returned as undelivered. They will dispatch it to your current address or guide you on how to obtain it. I hope this information is helpful.
