Hi Friend,
Bonus is applicable at the time when an employee transfer from one department to other department of same establishment.
If an employee worked for 30 days then he/she will be eligible for bonus.

Can anybody tell me as and when this amendment will come into force. bcoz we are in a process to disburse bonus for the financial year ended 31st March'2010.

If a employee salary is 16500 and we employer want to pay bonus on 16500 is it possible to pay on 16500? or paid on only 5000/- as per new amendment.

minimum bonus payable to an employee is 3500/- or 8.33% ???
what abt upper limit or cieling of 10000/-
salary.....ny employee taking slary more than 10000/- is not eligible for bonus????
limit 10000/- is on basic only or gross salary......
if basic of a employee is 9500/- but gross he take away 50000/- then is he eligible
or if basic is 12000/- & gross is 20000/- then is he eligible

If an employee Basic is Rs 10,000 per month and if 8.33% is declared as bonus, what is the caluculation. Is it Rs 10,000 or Rs 3500 only.

This means both employees get the same amt of Bonus. Is this correct

Dear Member,
If there is no addition of any DA & Food allowance in the rate of basic then your statement is correct subject to the condition that these employees have worked in whole of the accounting year & have also drawn full wages.

it totally depends
if co. Agreed to pay 8.33% on basic then in first case employee would get 10000/-
&
if co. Declared to pay 8.33% on 3500/- i.e. Min. Bonus then he would get 3500/- only...........
