Can anyone write a sample of a No Objection Certificate?

I am married to a European, and when I applied for my wife's visa, the immigration department in Abu Dhabi asked me to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from my country's embassy in Abu Dhabi. Is this a common procedure? I married in Abu Dhabi Sharia Courts. Can you please send me a sample of this NOC so that I can obtain one from my embassy here in Abu Dhabi?
