Hello augutsya As per factory act it is essential to give weekly day of rest after 48 working hours to each individual employee employed under any establishment. If some one is called to work on sunday which is declared holiday then then employee is entitled to avail one compensatory day of rest in lieu of his working on sunday or holiday.Compensatory day of rest must be availed within 3 months from the date of working on sunday or holiday. It is mandatory for the employer.
