Dear Member,

The Haryana Government has not issued any notification regarding the holiday for the private sector, including factories.

"Is 14th October also a holiday for factories? On 3rd October, there was confusion."

Is October 14th, 2010, declared a holiday under the Shops & Establishment Act as well? Or is the earlier notification issued by the government applicable to organizations registered under the Shops & Establishment Act?
R.N.Khola
The notification attached by Mr. Nawal Kishor has been issued for Central Government Offices and Central PSUs situated in Delhi/New Delhi.

"Is this notification applicable to private organizations also?"

If your office is situated in Haryana and is a private one, then you are not required to close on 14th October 2010.
