There is a ton of stuff here on CiteHR already about interviews and interview questions. Use the Downloads Search box at the top of the page. SEARCH FIRST ASK SECOND. Almost everything you need is here on Cite and already posted by other members.

Hi,

I am going to give an interview for an HR Officer position. Could you please tell me the most important questions that are usually asked by the interviewer during the interview?

Hi,

There is nothing like preparing answers for the questions. All that you need to do is be positive. Go to an interview with an open mind. Be honest and try to be yourself.

Most important thing before attending the interview is to:
By heart your resume first and be confident of the subject you have mentioned.
Stay updated on new concepts.
Dress professionally, be punctual, maintain eye contact, and respond honestly.
I think it will help you excel in the interview.

1. What are the techniques of recruitment?
2. Which technique is better?
3. Methods of appraisal?
4. Any experience?
5. How to resolve disputes in the organization if they arise?

And many more...

You have to be confident enough at the time of the interview. This is only the mantra of success.

The most common questions are:
- Why do you want to make a change?
- Which is your specialized area in HR gamut - either Recruitment, PMS, T&D, Compensation and Benefits, Rewards & recognition, etc.?
- What are your goals/aims in the future?

Other than these questions, you should know your job.
