What Documents Do I Need for a Contractor Labor License Application? Seeking Guidance!

Can anybody help me with what are the documentations required for a labor license for a contractor and also need to be submitted to get a license. Please reply to me.

For Contract Labour license, you require:

1. Form IV application in triplicate.
2. Form V from the principal employer.
3. Work order copy.
4. Security deposit amount and license fee.

Good information but in the Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Act of 1952, the description of Form 10 D is incorrect as it is used in the case of the death of a member instead of Form 20.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Sir,

On behalf of the Work Order/Job contract, you may issue Form V from your side (if you are the principal employer). The Labour Office will provide you with a challan for the deposit amount based on the number of job hands. A copy of the challan, showing the deposited license fee, may be submitted until you receive the Labor License from the Labour Office.

The following documents are required to obtain the CLA license from the Labour office:

1. Form IV application in triplicate
2. Annexure B along with Form IV
3. Form V from the principal employer
4. Work order copy
5. Affidavit
6. Security deposit amount and license fee

For a contract labor license under the Contract Labor Act of 1970, Form II should also be attached. For a license under the Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act of 1979, the following documents shall be submitted:

- Form II
- Form V
- Form VI
- Work order copy (not mandatory)
- Challan copies for payment of security deposit and license fee
